LOCATION

Yamanashi Prefecture is located in the center of Japan. It neighbors Tokyo, Kanagawa Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture and Saitama Prefecture. It is connected to each area by a transportation network which includes links to Tokyo via the Chuo Expressway and the JR Chuo Main Line.
